- Musters are a required activity; they are not an option. Therefore, even if you are in a wheelchair you MUST attend. "I did it on a previous trip" or "I am not feeling well" is not and should never be an excuse to miss a drill.

- Although the article was about reading books of fiction the findings may also be generalized to non-fiction as well. The findings support why reading a newspaper is much more informative than simply watching the news.

- For a while I though I was the one with a reading comprehension problem (actually had to read it twice). Glad to know that others are having similar difficulties with this poorly written article. The author needed to clarify who owned the boat.

- If her death is indeed drug related it is sad that she died as a result of drug use. However, even sadder is the fact that people will continue to abuse drugs thinking what happened to Whitney will never happen to them (e.g., Lindsey Logan).
